Q: What is a domain name?
A: A domain name is the website's address. For example, www.mybusiness.ca
Q: How do I create a domain name for my website?
A: A domain name is included in your Yellow Pages Website Solution.
We will complete the domain registration process for you based on your requested domain preferences.
Q: What if the domain name I want to register is not available?
A: Unfortunately, we don´t control a domain name's availability.
If the domain name you wish to register is not available, your Account Agent will help you find another domain name that is available.
Q: I already have a registered domain name. Can I use it for my new website?
A: No. This feature will be available in 2012.
Q: What if I want to have more than one domain name?
A: Additional domain names can be redirected to the website we create for you.
3. Website Hosting
Q: What is the service level agreement for hosting?
A: We guarantee your website will be available online 99% of the time.

4. Emails
Q: How do I set up my new email addresses?
A: During the initial consultation with your website Account Agent, you will be asked for the email addresses you would like created.
Q: Can a new email address be created after the initial consultation?
A: Yes. You may request the creation of a new email address at any time while you have your website. Simply contact our website team at 1-855-332-7483 or by email at multimedia@ypg.com.
Q: I've heard of an email alias. What is it and how does it work?
A: An email alias looks like a regular email address, but is directed to a different email box.
For example, your may ask your customers to write to contact@mybusiness.ca (alias name) or services@mybusiness.ca (alias name) depending on their enquiry.
However, to make managing email easier for you, both of those alias emails may be directed to one central email box at owner@mybusiness.ca (real email address).
In this example, if you wish to check for new email from contact@mybusiness.ca, you will log in to the owner@mybusiness.ca email account.
You can use both the alias and the real email address to send emails, but all replies will be received in your real email account.
Q: Can you create alias emails too?
A: Yes. You may request the creation of an alias email address at any time while you have your website.

Q: Do aliases count toward the email addresses included in my website solution?
A: No. For example, if you want the alias contact@mybusiness.ca and owner@mybusiness.ca, this counts as only one email address.
5. Website Building Process
Q: Will I need to be involved while my website is being created?
A: Yes. Our main goal is to create a website that meets your expectations and suits your needs.
Since you know your business best, your input is extremely valuable throughout the website building process.
Starting with the initial phone consultation, we will ask you questions to better understand your business and capture your preferences of design, colours, and overall look and feel.
You will also be asked to provide other content such as photos, videos or text describing your business to incorporate into your website.
Once the website is created we will ask for your feedback before providing your final approval.
Q: How is content created for my website?
A: You are responsible for providing the content you wish to see displayed on your website.
This includes pictures, videos or any written text that describes your business.
If you don´t have images or pictures, we will include stock photos on your website.
If you have also purchased one of our video options, our video production team will contact you to schedule time for your video shoot or gather photos for a montage.
Q: I purchased a bilingual website. Will my content process be different?
A: A bilingual website doubles the number of pages your website would normally have.
For example, if you purchased a Web Pro solution, you have up to 10 pages in English and 10 pages in French to display your information.
The colours, look and feel, and page structure will be exactly the same in both languages.
You are responsible for providing the content you wish displayed on your website in both languages.
Q: What happens if I want more pages or another feature added to my website?
A: If you have not yet used the maximum number of pages or features included in your current website solution,

If your current website solution has already reached its maximum content, please contact your Yellow Pages Media Account Consultant to consider other website options that may better fit your needs.
Q: What if I´m not able to provide my input or feedback during the time you request it?
A: We understand that you run a business and may not always be available. At each step of the building process, we will try to reach you 3 times and will leave a message if you are not available.

If we are not able to contact you, we won´t let you miss opportunities. If we have completed the initial consultation we will publish your website with the content available so far.

In situations where you have not yet chosen your domain name or transferred your current domain name, we will create a temporary domain for you.
We will change your website address to your final domain name as soon as the situation is resolved.

Q: What are my creative services hours for?
A: All Yellow Pages Website Solutions include hours of free creative services time.
These hours give you access to our Creative Services team to keep your website current with updates throughout the year.

Q: Can I carry over my unused creative services support hours to the following term of my purchase?
A: No. Creative services support hours may only be used during the current term.

Q: What should I do if there is a technical issue with my website or email?

Q: How long will it take to resolve my technical issue?
A: We commit to resolving all technical issues within 8 hours of being notified.
8. Websites & Trademarks
Q : How do I know if I have the right to put certain logos or photos on my website?
A : Here are some simple rules to follow:
For photos you have taken yourself:
Make sure people who are visible in the picture, have given you their explicit consent to appear on your website.
For pictures you find on the internet:
If you have bought the picture, you have also purchased the right to use it. However, it is important to understand the contractual agreement and clauses involved with the acquisition. Your right to use the photo may change depending on the context in which you use it.
If you managed to receive the picture for free, you must ensure that the photos are free to use.
For logos:
If you wish to show the logos of your business associates on your website, verify the terms listed in the contract you have with these companies. The contract should specify whether you have the right to use their trademark. If you do not have a contract, you probably do not have the right to use their logo. Regardless, make sure you contact the company before using their trademark on your website.

Q: Are these reports available to everyone?
A: Yellow Pages Analytics reports are available, at no charge, to all customers who have any one or more of the online paid products with YPG such as Website, SEM, Local Presence, Local Leader, Local Leader Plus, Sponsored Placement (includes Call Tracking), and Guaranteed Sponsored Placement (includes Call Tracking). SEO is not currently reported on Yellow Pages Analytics but will be included in the future.
Q: How do I register?
A: Yellow Pages Analytics reports are kept secure and are only available to the owner of the business, approved persons from the business, and agents of YPG. Merchants wishing to get access to their reports must first complete a one-time, simple registration process with a valid email address at the following URL: https://myreports.yellowpages.ca/register
Note: As an additional security precaution we will require verification by email.
Q: How do I get access to the reports?
A: First, you must complete the one-time, simple registration process. Once you have completed the registration, you will be able to access your reports securely by logging in at:https://myreports.yellowpages.ca
Q: Why can’t I get access to the reports?
A: If you have a paid online product with Yellow Pages, and you have successfully completed the one-time, simple registration process at https://myreports.yellowpages.ca/register, there is no reason why you cannot access your reports by logging in at https://myreports.yellowpages.ca. If you are having trouble seeing your report, please contact your Media Account Consultant or call Client Services at 1-877-909-YELO (9356) with the error message you see. Please note we have regular scheduled maintenance that may also affect access from time to time.
Q: How do I login?
A: If you have successfully completed the one-time, simple registration process at https://myreports.yellowpages.ca/register, then go to https://myreports.yellowpages.ca and login with either your “Username” or “Email Address” and the “Password” you used during the registration process.
Q: What do I do if I get an error message?
A: Please follow the instructions provided on the error message. If you continue to see the message, please contact your Media Account Consultant or call Client Services at 1-877-909-YELO (9356) and tell them what error message you saw. Please note we have regular scheduled maintenance that may also affect access from time to time.
Q: How often are the reports updated?
A: With Yellow Pages Analytics, data will be reported on in near real-time, which could mean a difference of only hours. The benefit for you is that every time you login you’ll be continually given the most up-to-date data on the performance of your advertising solution.
Q: How can I improve my results?
A: There are many ways to improve the results of your advertising investment. You should regularly review your results with your Media Account Consultant who will be able to advise you on ways to improve your results and increase the return on your investment. A: Yellow Pages Analytics is optimized for any computer running Internet Explorer 7 & 8, Firefox 3, Chrome and Safari.
Q: Can I view these reports on my mobile device/tablet?
A: Yes you can view your Yellow Pages Analytics on most mobile devices; however, be aware that the interface is not currently optimized for mobile devices.
Q: What are impressions?
A: Impressions are the number of potential times your online listing was displayed to a customer.
Q: How can impressions help me?
A: Yellow Pages impressions are better than regular search results. An impression means potential buyers have seen your business details and the various ways to contact you. Find out where your listing is showing up by category, keywords and locations, so you know your highest potential markets. Be placed higher for better results.
Q: What are clicks?
A: Clicks are the number of times a customer showed interest in your business profile by clicking on various elements of your Yellow Pages listing or website.
Q: How can clicks help me?
